  Support Kesher

As Kesher continues growing, we continue to challenge ourselves to improve the quality and impact of our programming.  However, in order to sufficiently support each of our students, achieve our mission, and most impact-fully educate our students, we need your help.
With your help, we will be able to continue to provide a strong academic education to our students, supporting their personal, academic, and Jewish development.
  Annual Campaign for Kesher Newton

It's not too late to donate to this year's Annual Campaign for Kesher Newton. We are so grateful for every donation, gift, and support: it is with your help that we are able to provide a strong academic Hebrew education to our students, supporting their personal, academic, and Jewish development. Any donation, from $18, to $360 or more, will help support our academic programs, grow our Hebrew, Judaic, Arts, and STEM curricula, supply up-to-date technology in every classroom, provide scholarships so more families are able to access our programs, and more.

Below you can find our Annual Appeal Letter. Your donation allows us to make this programming possible; thank you for your continued support to Kesher Newton. **Kesher Newton is a 501(c)(3) organization. Your donation is tax deductible, and 100% of your donation contribution will go directly to Kesher Newton.**

Dear friends,

It is with great pleasure that we are writing to you regarding your support to Kesher Newton. As we reach the end of the calendar year, we are asking for your partnership:  with your help, we will be able to continue on our program’s path to success.

This past year has been a year of significant growth for Kesher. We have:

  • Surpassed 100 students, with our Middle School program quadrupling from last year’s enrollment numbers

  • Continued growing our arts programming, with almost 50 dancers in our KesheRoked dance group, and 70 participants in our Hebrew-infused production of the Lion King musical, in a parallel track with our partner school in Haifa

  • Expanded our electives to include programming in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM), partnering with Innovation 4 Inclusion to create tangible and useful tools for individuals with various needs in our community

  • Expanded our inclusion staff, provided one-on-one tutoring to many of our students, and trained our teachers in creating an immersive Hebrew environment for all of our students

At Kesher Newton we are committed to giving children the best academic, personal, Jewish, and Hebrew experience possible. Kesher Newton is an extremely unique Hebrew School, providing an immersive Hebrew environment with language education, Jewish studies, a range of electives, and quality after-school care. Students increase their language fluency through storytelling, singing, dancing, and cooking, as well as through a variety of fun and engaging specialty programs. Some exciting events from this past year include our first-ever Mimouna Celebration and the KesheRoked performance at the Boston Red Sox’s Jewish Heritage Night, in addition to time-honored Kesher favorites such as “Erev Irit” (Celebratory Evening of Hebrew) and our community celebration under the Sukkah.

We are constantly re-evaluating our curriculum, hiring top educators, attending trainings and workshops, and building our yearly programs. This past year, Kesher has made great strides in teaching inclusivity, finding ways to incorporate student-centered teaching methods into every classroom, providing shared aides, decreasing our student to teacher ratio, and more. Through its unique programming, Kesher works to meet every student where they are.

In doing so, we strive to educate, inspire, and empower our students through a pluralistic, immersive Hebrew environment that is inclusive to all. These students become versed in Hebrew language, Jewish history, culture, and ethics, through a joyful, experiential community. Meanwhile, they explore their own beliefs, increase their self-confidence, and gain practical life skills, all while acquiring Hebrew language in a fun and engaging way.

As Kesher continues growing, we challenge ourselves to improve the quality and impact of our programming, to create a meaningful educational experience for all our students. Students come to Kesher Newton from a variety of backgrounds, with a range in geographic locations, socioeconomic levels, Jewish backgrounds, learning needs, and Hebrew knowledge. However, as our enrollment rate is growing, so too is our need for funding, in order to sufficiently support each of our students. To achieve our mission, meet the needs of every student, and most impactfully educate our students, we need your help.

With a donation of $18, $36, $180, or $360, or more, we would be able to provide the best possible well-rounded educational experience to as many students as possible. With your support, we will be able to strengthen our academic programs, ensure small class sizes and teacher-student ratios, grow our Hebrew, Judaic, and STEM curricula, supply up-to-date technology in every classroom, provide scholarships so that more families are able to access our programs, and bolster our experiential education programming.

With your help, we will be able to continue to provide a strong education to our students, supporting their personal, academic, and Jewish development.

Thank you so much for all that you do to support Kesher Newton - we are truly grateful for all of your help, encouragement, and support.

With much gratitude,

Ilana Snapstailer, Executive Director
